The Post-Permanency Services and Support program at The Adoption Exchange has various parameters to qualify for our respite services.Families must live in Alamosa, Archuleta, Baca, Bent, Chaffee, Cheyenne, Clear Creek, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, Delta, Dolores, Eagle, Elbert, Fremont, Garfield, Gilpin, Grand, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Huerfano, Jackson, Kiowa, Kit Carson, La Plata, Lake, Las Animas, Lincoln, Logan, Mesa, Mineral, Moffat, Montezuma, Montrose, Morgan, Otero, Ouray, Park, Phillips, Pitkin, Prowers, Pueblo, Rio Blanco, Rio Grande, Routt, Saguache, San Juan, San Miguel, Sedgwick, Summit, Teller, Washington, Weld, Yuma

Families also must have: at least one finalized adoption; removal and successful reunification with no open case; and/or guardianship or APR/RGAP and have no open case. The caregiver must have completed at least 2 TBRI® classes offered by The Adoption Exchange and be planning to attend the Implementation and Connection Groups in their region. Respite hours vary based on family needs, never to exceed 6 hours in one day.
