Boulder Parks and Recreation - EXPAND Program

EXPAND's mission is to create a community of all abilities through recreation. We do this by supporting individuals in our community to participate in recreation and leisure programming. This includes providing specialized recreation and respite programs for individuals with disabilities as well as providing inclusion support in general Boulder Parks and Recreation Programs.

EXPAND primarily focuses on individuals with intellectual disabilities. We have additional programming for individuals with Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries, and we offer a summer camp for youth ages 6-11 with social/emotional and behavioral diagnoses.
